Our scouting district is hosting a family fun night on Wednesday, May 6th from 630 - 8pm at Marx Park (880 Linden Lane, Brookfield). Activities will include a nature walk, kickball, knot tying competition, air rockets, tug-of-war, wood kit craft
Sign up for the summer pack camp out is available. You will need a state park pass and will be asked to sign up for and bring food to share but there will be no other cost for this event. We will be at Kettle Moraine South state park. This event is limited to the first 80 people who sign up.
Payment in full for all outstanding balances is due to the pack no later than April 30th. Please see your den leaders if you do not know your balance. This includes the cost to sign up for and reserve spots for Swamp Fox in the fall. Checks can be made out to Pack 30.
Sign up is available for the June 28th Scout Dockhounds game. If you are interested in attending with us the cost to sign up is $26.45 and includes a scout patch. The game will be at 1:05PM at WBC Park. Bring your money to the pack or den leaders so that we can purchase all of our tickets and sit together. Sign up closes at the May Pack Meeting.
Reminder for all participants in River Rats family camp to update your health forms if they have not been completed in the last year.
Our next hiking club event will be at Minooka Park at 930AM on May 9th. This will be a 3-mile hike. No sign up is needed; but scouts are reminded to bring their six essentials.
Summer events and camps are offered by our two local area councils this summer. Most of these we are not doing as a pack, but a few people have already registered as a family for some of these and if you and your scout are interested, come up and take a look at the brochures. These events include fishing days, rocket nights, day camps, weekend family camps, adventure days, shooting sports, and more.
Next month we will be putting together our scouting program for the 2026-2027 scouting year that runs from June 2026 through May 2027. We would love to have your feedback. We will be emailing everyone a digital survey to complete. We also have some physical feedback forms if you prefer to complete these. In order to make sure that all of your feedback is incorporated as we start to plan, please have these submitted or bring back to the May Pack meeting on May 13th.
Tree planting has been rescheduled for next week at Roberta Park at 615PM on Wednesday, April 22nd.
