On Sept. 15-16, Pack 30 had 3 Webelos scouts join 20 Boy Scout Troops from the Potawatomi Area Council for a fun day of scout skills and personal reflection. This was a great opportunity for our scouts to see Boy Scout troops in action and also get an idea of which one they may want to join after they graduate from Cub Scouts. Temperatures were in the high 80s during the day and a cool 50 deg F. at night. The dew point was pretty high, though, and most of the tents were soaking wet in the morning. Our scouts had a great time, and spent the evening having a lot of fun with the scout troops in the area. This is a highly recommended event for all Webelos scouts, so look for it in mid-September next year! For an informational video, check out this one from 2017: https://youtu.be/i6HRQjEBSUY |
