Swamp Fox 2017 patch
We had a modest turnout for the annual Potawatomi Area Council Swamp Fox weekend camp-out. This was the 31st anniversary for Swamp Fox. There were  12 families (37 people) participating, and we enjoyed a full weekend of fun activities.  The weekend was amazing with temperatures in the 60s and beautiful weather. The evenings were cool, in the 40s, but most were nestled in their tents, soundy. Those that came were able to practice archery, BB gun shooting, fire building, rope making, a wood project to make a keepsake box, and more great activities that our Cub Scouts can only do at camp.

All of our Scouts had a great time, enjoyed some fun with their fellow scouts and family, and met some new friends.

Everyone that participated attained the Shooting Sports patch for Archery and BB Gun Shooting, progress toward their Outdoor Activity awards and some rank advancement for the activities they participated in.

This was an excellent weekend, and I hope to see you all again next year!
