Swamp Fox 2016 Patch
Over
the weekend Pack 30 had a modest turnout for the 30th Annual Potawatomi Area Council Swamp Fox weekend camp-out.  We had 7 families (17 people) participate, and enjoyed a full weekend of fun activities.  The weekend lived up to its name with a light rain Friday through Sunday, which made setup and take-down a little soggy. Spirits were high, though, and we had lots of fun during the indoor campfire and the other activities that were under a canopy. Those that came were able to practice archery, BB gun shooting, fire building, rope making, a wood project to make a steam boat, and more great activities that our Cub Scouts can only do at camp. There was also some Ga-ga ball played, which resulted in some very muddy scouts :)

All of our Scouts had a great time, enjoyed some fun with their fellow scouts and family, and met some new friends.

Everyone that participated attained the Shooting Sports patch for Archery and BB Gun Shooting, progress toward their Outdoor Activity awards and some rank advancement for the activities they participated in.

This was an excellent weekend, and I hope to see you all again next year!
