Scout Sunday is a time for the scouts to give back to their charter organizations and help out with religious services or projects. Sometimes scouts wear their uniforms to church, or are positioned as greeters, or participate in part of the service, or are awarded their religious emblem that they have been working on. Each religious organization handles Scout Sunday differently, and may not always celebrate it on the 'official' date, so please check your religious leaders. If your religious organization is not doing anything this year, maybe you can suggest something for next year. |
