For over three years now, the Boy Scouts of America and the President's Challenge program have teamed up to help Scouts of all ages and abilities increase their level of physical activity by completing the SCOUTStrong Presidential Lifestyle Award (PALA).
There is some information available on the Potawatomi Area Council President's Challenge page. You can download the tracking form from our site, or create an online account (with the help of a parent) that is tied to the Potawatomi Area Council team. Once created, you can Login using this link and start tracking your daily activities.
The process requires a 6-week commitment to a healthy and active lifestyle. You will need to be physically active (at least 60 minutes a day) for at least 5 days each week (performing some activities from this list), and meet a weekly healthy eating goal (see the list below). Each week you will add a new healthy eating goal while continuing to practice your previous goals. You have eight weeks to complete your logging activities.

Once you have completed your tracking and healthy eating habits, let your Den Leader or Cub Master know and we will order your patch.

We will follow-up with the second physical fitness testing at the Dec. Pack meeting to see how you've progressed over the course of 1 month.
