Scouting for Food - 2019

posted Mar 11, 2019, 3:21 PM by Webmaster Pack30

Scouting for Food is a chance for our Pack to reach out to the community to help fill the Waukesha food Pantry. Our scouts distribute bags one weekend, then come back and collect bags filled with nonperishable food, which is then brought to the pantry. Food levels are usually pretty low this time of year, and this is a much needed service.

March 9th at 9:30am is the Scouting for Food bag drop-off. WE NEED YOUR HELP!! We will be distributing bags to each house in the streets surrounding Randall Elementary. Please show up early for your route and bags, then distribute until you've hit every house, or your bags are gone.

March 16th at 10:00am
we will revisit the route and collect food for the Waukesha Food Pantry. Please consider attending both weekends. It usually doesn’t take that much time, and is a great help to our community. If you can only make one weekend, please make it the first (March 10th). We will meet @Randall (near the playground on the south side of the building) to distribute maps, bags, and form groups.

Our general area can be seen in the map below. We will not distribute to the college, church or schools in our area, just the residential houses.
