Over the weekend Pack 30 had a great turnout for the annual Potawatomi Area Council River Rats weekend camp-out. This was our largest turnout with 28 participants. We shared a campsite with Pack 85, and enjoyed a full weekend of fun activities. The weekend was full of sunshine and great weather along with a full moon Saturday night. Those that came were able to practice archery, BB gun shooting, fire building (hosted by our Pack this year), climbing wall and many more great activities that our Cub Scouts can only do at camp. All of our Scouts had a great time, enjoyed some fun with their fellow scouts and family, and met some new friends. Everyone that participated attained the Archery, BB Gun Shooting and progress toward their Outdoor Activity awards. |
