Park Clean-up 2016

One of the great parts of being a Scout is giving back to the community. We do this through service projects scheduled throughout the year. This year, our Wolf den has worked with the Waukesha Parks system to set up a park Clean-up on May 23rd at Woodfield Park in Waukesha. The entire Pack is welcome to participate and will meet at 10:00 am near Ascension Lutheran Church. You may park in the church parking lot, or on the street.

Last time we were there, it required a lot of cleaning, so all the help we can get would be great. Also, we may try to pull invasive species (Garlic Mustard) from the surrounding woods.

The park representatives will provide bags to use for the clean up, but please bring work gloves and dress appropriately for walking in the woods. Long sleeves and pants are a good idea to keep the bugs off.

If you have questions or comments, please e-mail Laura Wagner or leave a message on the Facebook page.

We hope to see you there!
