Pack Park Cleanup

posted May 6, 2015, 5:17 PM by Matt Wagner
One of the great parts of being a Scout is giving back to the community. We do this through service projects scheduled throughout the year. This year, we  have worked with the Waukesha Parks system to perform a park Clean-up on May 9th at Woodfield Park in Waukesha. We will meet at 9:00 am near Ascension Lutheran Church. You may park in the church parking lot, or on the street.

Last time we were there, it required a lot of cleaning, so all the help we can get would be great. Also, we may try to pull invasive species (Garlic Mustard) from the surrounding woods.

The park representatives will provide bags and rubber gloves to use for the clean up, but please dress appropriately for walking in the woods. Long sleeves and pants are a good idea to keep the bugs off.

If you have questions or comments, please e-mail Jennifer Werner or leave a message on the Facebook page.

We hope to see you there!
