Our next pack meeting is next Wed. Oct. 10^th at 6:15pm.  We hope that we have a fun meeting planned for the scouts.  We have the following planned:

• Costume Parade.  Please have your scout wear their Halloween costume (conforming to all the same Randall rules for costumes).  If they have not picked their costume for this year yet, recycle last years for this event.
• Den Leader Mummification – We will have a challenge where the dens will “mummify” their den leader using toilet paper – this will be fun for all…except maybe the leaders.
• Police Officer visit.  They will discuss safety tips for children during Halloween and Trick or Treating
• We will have a station to decorate gourds to take home.
• Sign up for River Rats camping in the Spring
• Typically this event occurs the first weekend in May, Fri night until Sun morning
• Will be at Camp Long Lake in St. Cloud, WI
• Fun weekend of great experiences for the scouts including, shooting sports, games, crafts, scout skills, etc.  The events change each year.
• Camping outdoors with the family
• Last year we had over 70 family members go, we were one of the largest groups there.
• The signup sheet will be at the meeting.  I will need names, contact info, t shirt size and a $15 deposit per person attending.  Typically the cost is around $50 per person.  We encourage full payment, if possible, but there is a deadline to have all payments in that we will communicate to all.

 

We will also squeeze in a Bobcat ceremony for any new scouts who have completed their Bobcat requirements.

 

Lastly, if your scout has finished selling, please bring in their sales sheets to turn in.  All sheets must be turned in before or on Oct. 13^th.
