Dec. Pack Meeting - STEM Engineering

This month we will be building towers and structures using marshmallows and toothpicks to try and build the highest, stable structures with limited resources. Scouts will be teaming up in groups of three or four from their den to plan and build the structures. When complete, we will measure height and if the structures can hold weight. We will be utilizing some of the examples below to create solid structures. Please bring your imagination!

We will also be talking with a few engineers from the Pack (Mr. Johnson and Mr. Slater) as they share with our scouts blueprints and what sort of skills are required for their engineering jobs. Please bring you questions.

The meeting will be at the Randall School Gym on Wednesday, Dec. 13th @ 6:15pm.

Scouts will also have an opportunity to create a pine cone ornament that they can keep or give away as a gift to someone.
