Council Garden Planting - POSTPONED

Update 4/25/2017: We, unfortunately, need to postpone this service project to a time later in May. Details to follow.

-------------------------------
We have an opportunity to plant the council garden.
For the past few years the Potawatomi Area Council has planted a garden plot on their property in Waukesha. The Packs and Troops in the Council have a chance to tend the garden throughout the summer.
Council Service Center
804 Bluemound Rd., Waukesha, WI 53188

Our pack has been chosen for the Spring planting. We will be preparing the garden and planting sugar snap peas, carrots, and lettuce.
Other packs will water and harvest the vegetables, which are then donated to the food pantry of Waukesha.

We could use your help for this wonderful service project.
If possible, please bring gardening tools, work gloves and a willingness to help our scouts learn the joy of planting.

We'll meet at 9:00 am, and leave when we're finished. It's scheduled until 12:00, but we'll probably finish much sooner than that. You can then enjoy the rest of your weekend.

If it's raining, we will reschedule to another day/time.
